I just got my new TRD FJ and Love, Love, Love it!! My broker had it
shipped in from AZ, after all the dealers in CO said there were none
to be had. They all said I would have to order one in wait 6 months
and pay full retail. I did none of this, it took a week, no order
deposit and I paid less than retail! So thank you AZ for not buying
this up. It's a blast to drive and handles a lot better than the
base model I test drove. I have to say I don't plan on climbing any
rocks or swimming in mud with it, but it will see lots of snow. I
live in the foothills outside Denver and work parttime as a ski
instructor so it will have lots of play time in the snow.

My original 1977 FJ40 was the
greatest. I sold it about 6 years ago, and have really missed it.
When the FJ Cruiser came out it was a MUST HAVE. We live in the
mountains and can get a couple of feet of snow overnight. Neither
one of my FJ's have ever let me down.
Everywhere I go someone stops me to talk about my FJ. They think it
is the best looking SUV on the road, and want to know all about it
,and how I like it. The Black Cherry Pearl is stunning, especially
when it is clean. I washed it several times a week for a while
because we live in the mountains, but that got old after a while.
Some say it even looks great dirty. I put aggressive mud and snow
tires on it, and they make the FJ look tough.

This is our black FJ. OME suspension,
ARB bullbar, cageworks billet grille, TRD rockrails, TRD exhaust, 18
inch Pro Comp wheels, 33 Nitto Terra Grappler tires, and Air raid
intake. We only run Royal Purple oil and I love it. We tinted the
windows and added some tough manick rear taillight guards. We also
replaced the rear subwoofer w/a Kicker Comp. sub which works much
better. As all of our vehicles it is an ongoing work in
progress...Future 6 inch suspension, warn rear bumper, and 35/36
inch tires soon!!!

Hello. Here is my FJ. I Just put 33" nitto mud grapples with 20"
American racing
and EZ-lift by www.extremetrucktoys.com 3" (4" actually) lift under
it. Rides better than stock. Thanks for the invite.....

w/ 3 inch lift, skid plates, ARB bumper (warn 9.5i is on order), and
33" tires.
And yes I got a 33" spare too, and tv/dvd, air compressor, coffee
pot and a cooler

Hated

I bought my FJ Cruiser just about one
month ago, what a great truck!!! It is a 'guy magnet' until they see
the 60 year old lady driving it!!! My husband found out he needed a
quintuple bypass open heart surgery the week we bought the
truck...when we checked him into the hospital, we were really
popular with the dudes who did the valet parking!! They loved the
thing!! I think they parked it the farthest distance so they could
drive it! Love your website...
Thanks again for your great website, there aren't many FJ's around
here that I know of, yet!!!

CRUISER SAVED MY LIFE!

I was just viewing your site, and saw
the section in your gallery where people are showing off their FJ
Cruiser's.... well I was the proud owner of one, but had a little
accident. Here are some pictures to show you how safe the truck is
and what it does in a roll over. Keep in mind I first hit a rock cut
and then rolled it five times where it came to rest on all fours in
a ditch... the poor thing is a write off, but it saved my life. I
walked away from the accident with no more then some aching muscles
the next day. Keep in mind that alcohol WAS NOT a factor in this
accident. I swerved to miss hitting a large bull moose on the
highway. |
These are KMC 20" wheels with Pirelli scorpian ATRs .
I'm going to lift (Revtek) and put Nitto mud grapplers on it soon
then put the new front bumper and a Gobi rack.

My fiance' and I decided our 94 wrangler wasn't going to do it for us
anymore and got lucky finding this FJ. we love it and have plans to
gat it trail ready as soon as we can. We would like to start hitting
local trails with other FJ' ers out here and have some fun. This one
has a 3" lift on 20's with the new Nitto Dune Grapler Tires. We plan
to fabricate custom rocker guards, bumpers with a hidden winch, roof
rack with low profile light bar, and whatever else we can imagine
up.
