The Mean Green Gear Reduction Starter is the answer to all of your starter problems. The Mean Green Starter provides 100% more torque than an overweight stock starter. The Mean Green Starter's 3" tool steel driveshaft is supported at both ends by bearings. The stainless steel pinion shaft is externally splined to mate with the larger diameter, internally splined driveshaft. Even the armature in the high-speed motor is supported at each end with bearings. All totaled, there are five bearings in the motor and gear assembly. That's one reason we include a 2-year Warranty at no charge on every starter, (Commercial and Racing applications carry a 1-year warranty). Another is the heat resistant, integrated solenoid which continues to operate even at extreme temperatures.
Mean Green Starter's are compact in design to provide additional oil pan and header clearance.
Warranties
M.G. Industries Automotive Starter Products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. Except for the following exclusions:
Improper installation.
Water immersion.
Damage from vehicle accident or collision.
Starter uniter altered or modified in any way.
No Starter product may be returned for any reason unless prior return parts authorization (RPA) number has been issued from M.G. Industries.
Replacement units will be given for Starter products found to be defective, on approval only, after inspection. No credit will be issued.
M.G. Industries will not be liable for labor charges and other intangible or consequent losses that might be claimed as a result of the failure of any part, nor shall it be liable for damages or injury to persons or property resulting from misuse or improper installation of any part subject to this warranty.
